4th Gen - Hazzards, Turn Signal, Cruise & Fogs Dont Work!

Hi guys,

I have a bizarre issue with my 4th Gen. The hazard lights don't work when you press the switch, when you try to use the turn signals the hazard lights start flashing. The front fog lights have also stopped working, you cant hear the relay click when you press the button. I also notice that when you press the cruise button, it doesn't light up or work.

I have checked all the related fuses but they look all fine. Is there something I have missed? Has anyone had this issue before? I have checked the plugs to the switch etc, the look all fine.

Any help will be appreciated!

Could be the fuse box? Test the wiring for power, earth and continuity.

But if it was the fuse box, wouldn't every else not be working too? Realised the passenger side window doesn't work from its switch although works from drivers side.

Last thing I have done in the last month is:
- Fitted JDM front fog lights using all the original stuff, lights, switch and relay
- Fitted JDM folding mirrors
- Fitted a brand new Pioneer CD/USB player

The alarm has stopped chirping when you lock and unlock (laserline alarm)

I'm going to have another look this evening - going to go through every fuse, engine and drivers side foot well.

Issue solved!!

It was my fault, when I took off the centre console to do the folding mirror installation, while putting everything back I plugged the hazard switch to the fog light plug and the fog light switch to the hazard lights plug. In my defense, they are exactly the same plug although different colour!
