That is a shame you couldnt make it today - we had a lot of work planned for your lude and weather was perfect

Still i managed to forge ahead and get some more work done to my BB4 :)

Had to take the back bumper back off and refit it - here are a couple of pics

Back of the car is solid as you can see and it scrubbed up well :o I thought there would be more rust to deal with back there.

New back bumper and lip back on and fitment is better now.

Image

slight crack at corner of bumper and its not sitting 100 percent flush - filled and touched in the rust at the back of the arch.

Image

Found a drain hole teat thingy on driver side- poked some wire through it and cleaned it out - it had some moisture dripping out it. Funny thing there isnt one on the other side it just has a blanking plug.

couple of pics of number plate holder for @NafemanNathan

So some progress which is great but couple of small issues to address:

1/Offside Front Fog Light not working
2/Speedo needle bouncing up and down - intermittent problem - could be linked to loose connection at offside parking light - connection fixed 8/8/2015

That is looking very tidy.
I may have missed it, but what is the reasoning behind the mesh in front of the radiator?

cheers guys :)

yep i do like the look of ww kit - iv had the full ww big mouth kit 3 or 4 years ago but sold it to help pay for other work on the lude so its good to get a full kit again albeit with the rs front lip which i prefer - im going to hang onto it this time :)
as far as the rest of the paintwork i still live in hope that i will find a pro to finish the job  and there is still a small amount of rust to be cut out in a few places...the battle continues
