JUN cams in

Skunk2 Cam Gears on

Cam Caps on (bolts yet to be torqued down yet, need to borrow torque wrench from a mate)

sprayed the Rocker the other day as well

"the smurf has got his hat on....hip hip hip hooray"

Oh! no longer papa smurf without the red hat?

which one does that make it now?

You must be excited now, having the last bits of the jigsaw puzzle and it nearly all back together?

Is the plan to get it straight in when finished, or have you got lots of other stuff to do before it actually goes in the car?

technically he will have a red hat on for a while as I will be using the Red rocker currently on the lude for tuning as it has the end section cut off for adjusting the cam gears, and once complete then this rocker will go on.

very excited but plenty yet to do and a few things to purchase, rough work remaining consists of:
Make sure all timed up with new cambelt
Fit new tb, egr blank and iacv to mani *use gasket sealant on egr
Install new spark plugs
Adjust valve clearances
Make sure all important bolts are torqued up
*********************************************************
Take out old engine
Take off IM gasket
Swap vtec solenoid sensors over to new engine
Take off old gearbox, paint
Get timing marks from flywheel
Fit new clutch and old lightened fly with new ARP bolts
Install gearbox on new block
Fit inlet mani to head using new IM gasket from current engine
Install fpr and replacement fuel filter and fuelling using AN fittings
Install mocal oil cooler
Fit new short hamp oil filter
Install gauges and sensors
Properly wire in ignition kill switch
Swap for poly filled engine mounts
Install new engine
Wire in injectors (solder together?)
All new fluids (cheap oil, coolant, PS, brake, clutch)
Break in engine
Swap to better main oil
Tune

As usual, if anyone has any advice or think ive missed something, please don't hold back

yep prob will be

new baby due this month too but ill make sure ill crowbar in the time to sort it
