Well...
good and bad news..
I spend days getting the car ready for its MOT.
Lights didnt work. dash lights didnt work.
no mirrors or wipers.
Today it was judgement day..
And I passed
when I drove back home i finally felt good to give it some ....
But then...... I abviously forgot to check my bonnet....... BAM....
results.. bonnet on windshield and roof.... please shoot me...

Roof is a shame.. will let a guy look at it maybe he gen get most dents out.
Brand new windshield.... gonna cost me...
the hood... well its still in one piece. but lots of damage. looking for another carbon hood. but I can still use this I think.
I need new hinges... hopefully someone can send those to me ASAP..
Can't believe this.. now I can finally drive legally this happens...

So sorry to hear that my friend.
It's so easy to miss something small like that, I know only too well (see Lisa's jdm thread!)

Its really really stupid and not gonna blame sombody else. it looked shut..
Not even seen the track yet
payment of the poly doors is comming up too.... my money tree is dying fast....

Im an airline pilot... wouldn't be good if I panicked.. just let go of the accelerator and find a reference to stay on the road.. drove it to a safe place and closed my bonnet.... already got new hinges and might have a new bonnet.. together with the front windscreen its gonna cost me about 800 poundsek9sid wrote:Chronic facepalm! Least you were able to stop safely though. Seen it a few times where this has happened and they've panicked and thrown the car off the road/track

Time for a carbon fibre roof then?!

Absolutely gutted for you bud
I was worried for a minute reading that that it was going to have been your engine that had blown up or something, so in a way I'm relieved. But still, just what you didn't want to happen
Aerocatches in the next bonnet then
