I'm not sure viscous diffs are all that great unfortunately, I am looking forward to driving mine and hope it is as good as the diff in accord type r and integra type r but I am not getting my hopes up. I suspect the Type S with it's suspension and atts would be the best but I went for the S spec for less weight and rare points.RattyMcClelland wrote:What's that bum chum?Dino wrote:

Yer helical/torsion diffs are better than viscous. In racing situations clutch plate diffs will work better than helical most times. We will see soon how atts compares to a propper beefed up helical diff when I swap mine over.Craig_85 wrote:

I've bought a set of front ATR calipers so I can fit 300mm discs. Will buy some disks try and get them fitted on the weekend. My current calipers are starting to seize, they squeal now and again when i move off from stationary. I did buy another set of calipers to replace the current ones last year but never got round to fitting them. I'm quite surprised the ludes didnt come with 300mm disks already.

The OEM prelude calipers are good and can do the job fine (with the right upgrades and constant maintenance) but the ATR calipers and discs are a better setup. The Prelude is older and lighter than the ATR so that it why it only got the smaller brakes.
Remember you'll need the ATR carriers (or equivalent) in order to use the ATR calipers with the 300 x 28mm discs
