Hmmm... wheel works look very good too.
They are quite a bit more expensive though and no mention of a discount...

I can make some calls I guess.

Are you after standard oem silver finish kordafish?

When you guys are giving prices for refurbing wheels, are these companies repairing/filling kerbing or are they simply stripping them back and repainting?

I generally get my wheels powder-coated. The company I use now charges £45 a wheel which includes blasting them back and powder-coating. They have another company they use for repairing any kerbing, but I've always repaired the wheels myself first.

I can't recommend Uniroyal Rainsport 3's enough. My tyre of choice for a daily. I had one 215/45R17 delivered from Camskills the other day at £61.88 (including delivery), so they're an amazing price as well 8)

Mine was for repairing the kerbing too, but they do say to use a bit of common sense - i.e. general kerbing will be sorted, if there's huge chunks out of it though don't expect to look mint, unless you pay the extra, which is fair enough. 8-)

Nafeman thanks for the advise on the Uniroyals, I am leaning towards Falken Ziex ZE-194's @ £53 each, wurleycorner the cheapest Dunlop SP's that I have found are as expensive as the Goodyear £75+ each  have you found them any cheaper than that? :?:

For less than a tenner extra each (Dependant on your size) I'd definitely opt for the Rainsport 3's bud. The Falken's are considered between a sports tyre and a budget one... I'd be more inclined to opt for something that can definitely handle what a Prelude can throw at it.

I had a bit of a tyre emergency recently, and couldn't get my hands on Rainsports. I instead bought these:

Which so far have proved excellent, only tyre I found besides the Rainsports to have A rated wet grip - and given the recent weather, I can vouch for that rating being deserved too
