After reading many threads about pulling codes for the abs I have discovered that the fault lies with my o/s/r speed sensor.
I took some time to remove it and give the whole area and the sensor a good clean, my question is though will the light just go out when there is no longer a fault or is there a way to reset it on 4th gens?
I understand there is a procedure for this with 5th gens but that doesn't seem to work on my 4th.
I'm hoping this will solve the issue as i'm trying my hardest not to purchase a new sensor.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Fault light will clear if you have fixed the fault. It doesn't 'latch' on permanently when it registers a fault, it self-tests every time it is switched on.
You can clear fault codes just by disconnecting the battery though, if you want to.
Have you resistance checked the rear sensor? I'll be very surprised if cleaning it makes any difference tbh, it's normally the flexibile cable going o/c.
