I have a question to add to this
On the rear we all have what I think is called an upper control arm, sorta sticks out from the spring and has a ball joint on it...
This has a metal chunk sticking out about halfway down which I'm a bit worried about rubbing on my tyre.
Has anyone any idea on if this will affect anything, i think if I lowered my car with the springs I have (30mm) it may catch
Standard suspension on standard blade alloys with 205/55/16 on
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

The upper control arm balljoint bolts to the rear knuckle which I can only describe as a curved rod which connects to the main hub/disc assembly.there shouldn't be anything which sticks out from there? I found the guide in the how to section good for when you tackle the inevitable need to lower the lude

I would add though, that the rear shocks are quite hard to manouvre out of the space you have, I found it useful to undo the rear anti roll bar bushes to give you a bit more space

Just seems to have a few cm of clearance at standard height and if I lower it I think it'll touch the tyre
But thanks for the reply and info, I'll check this other section now, on tapatalk and find bits of it hard to use haha
