Question btw... Different logo on the car to the sign? Are you changing from one to the other?

On sunday I took part in a local event in portishead we were there last year as well so thought id up the game a bit this year. It was Portishead Raft Race ive not entered into the race as yet as I know from previous personal experience how much duck jobby is in the lake lol. these guys did though

I wanted to take my car after recently being wrapped and the decals added as it would certainly catch peoples attention. I had a customers car lined up for it also which is this Mondeo Estate. I spent nearly 15 hours carrying out a full paint enhancement including decontamination, clay bar, 2 stage machine polish and then waxed up with king of gloss, I also completed the engine bay and interior so that people could have a good look round what I can do.

it may not be to all of your tastes but its very nice motor and came up really well both me and Dan the customer were very happy :D
I made up 200 goodie bags to give away on the day cost me in total £1.22 a bag to make, these had leaflets of mine with price list on the reverse a 15% discount card pack of harribo :D air freshener cheap microfiber and a leaflet for a local sprayer. these took me so long to bag up as its so tedious and beer and top gear didn't help   but looked really good and gave out around half as the weather took a bad turn.

I couldn't live with your car. I'd keep sliding off when I tried to put the key in.

Nice shine 8-)

Re: w1ggz track lude on my stand

Got the beast back out on track on Monday at castle Combe.
It was a session open pit lane day so you could only go out for 15mins at a time but get straight back in line to go back out if you wanted. This suited me fine as I don't like to push the old girl too much.
I managed to complete just under 40 laps with no issues from the lude what so ever, didn't even need to top the oil up which is quite suprising considering its got a fair few leaks (that's the next big job lined up to sort)
ive got a few pics here now to show you and some videos that ive got to overlay all the track data onto yet to be done. ive downloaded a new app called harrys lap time. it records video and also is a gps data logger it can even be plugged into the ecu if you have obd2. Its given me all my lap times and my best at 1.23.75 so with the next few mods ive got should save a fair bit of time off that.

Im really happy with how the car looks now and I think it looks stunning out on track.
my friend mike in the bmw was really lucky to be out on Monday as he had just fitted a bmw race engine on Monday and Tuesday and was unable to get the clutch to bleed, he had a koi carp show to do thur through to sunday night and managed to get a few bmw friends to pull together and pull the gearbox back out on sunday and solve the issue, they ended up finishing his car at 2am on Monday morning, when ive got the videos sorted you will see why hes not a happy bunny at the moment as he doesn't pull away from me to well. I think it needs a remap as hes fitted a HUGE induction and the car seems slow. his fastest lap was 1.19 his previous engine was 1.16 so im sure we will be back out soon to have another go.
we did also get to see a jag with 5000 miles on the clock burst into flames as its power steering pump exploded on the fastest part of the track, the owner in his 60s google the issue and apparently its a common problem not sure how the warranty will stand from being on combe though lol
