lol yeah learning lots but would like it to run sometime haha there is something fundamentally not working or correct we just have to find it.

Have you checked the ignition timing yet?

I would think that without establishing if mechanical and ignition timing are correct you cannot assume anything about the engine.

Merlin, in short no

not had time to get under the car and rocker off etc that's first test saturday once cool. we are pinning on the theory based on the cams been pinned it cannot have slipped BUT we are to check anyway to be sure. just creating a list of checks to do with info copy and pasted in from online on how to do them. i am keen to so come of the tests on the injectors would be embarrassing if we have the wrong ones but it is possible although the engine came with them.... anyway i will let you know saturday evening.
