I forget to update this, last weekend I finally found an bought a Prelude:

Its a 2.3i 4WS
- Only covered 56,000 with full service history inc cambelt
- 4WS is working fine

- Has A/C (an Optional extra on the 2.3i0 and working superb!

To do list:
- Replace the wheels and put them back to stock, the ones on them are not really my taste
- Install front fog lamps bought from DRAX
- Replace the boot spoiler with a JDM one, bought from Pedrodog66
- Replace faulty aerial, its not even the original Honda one, bought from newkid
- Replace back box, its got a small blow and isn't an original box - still on the lookout
- Replace Honda cassette player with a nice new Pioneer CD USB SD with Bluetooth hands free calling
- Replace drivers side wing as someone reversed into it a day before I bought it, bought one same colour from eBay breaker
- Install JDM folding mirrors
- Replace door inserts with JDM stripe ones and JDM mats

Later in the years:
- Replace the head with a H22A and keep auto box on it. I might buy a JDM 2.2i VTEC auto and get the complete engine out of it to replace and break rest of the car.

So I have some busy exciting weekends to come!

I'm a little lost though - why did you specifically want a 2.3.... if you're planning to buy a VTEC and swap/strip it?

I needed an auto and thought the 2.3i would be powerful which it is, but doesn't have the VTEC roar which I want. Its a project later down the year but definitely happening!

I spent nearly all day on the Lude yesterday but got a lot done!

My progress so far:
- Replaced damaged wing
- Installed JDM front fog lamps
- Replaced back box with a standard Bosal one, looking for a JDM one
- Replaced electric aerial
- Fitted the stock alloy wheels
- Installed the Pioneer CD player with hands free calling system

Next week:

- Install JDM folding mirror and connect it to alarm (if I get all the parts)
- Install door cards
