Think I sold off my es inserts but can't remember if I ever fitted the rear, thought I did to a 5th gen but can't be sure.
I replaced them all for sikaflex filled ones, I think the only difference you'll see over innovative mounts is the weight of the metal on the oem mounts. Performance wise they seem very equal to me.

they are definately quite a bit firmer over standard, but you'll get all the benefits of the harder mounts with a little extra vibration.rob quilter wrote:So my rear engine mount is shot, I've been thinking about buying some energy suspension inserts:

Obviously there will be more vibration at idle, but how bad is it? Anyone got energy suspension inserts installed?
you definately DON'T need anything more than 62A poly engine bushes, unless you're some sort of racing bad bwoy.
also remember that poly bushes do soften and sag slightly over time so they will get a little softer.

I bought a set of Innovative engine mounts with 75a hardness for my Prelude. Be prepared for a LOT of vibrations compared to the stock set! The whole car vibrates and shakes like a race car... or maybe like a massage chair... dunno.
I ordered a Hasport rear mount 62a to replace my Innovative rear mount as it quite uncomfortable for daily driving...
I will probably have to eliminate the front mount (teared stock one right now) to make space for the turbocharger but I think there will be some space for one of these "dampers".

@jasonxr2racer If it's for your racecar don't bother. The inserts will not be up to the job. They are fine for a road car that has knackered mounts that need a bit of suring up, not much else.jasonxr2racer wrote:does anyone in Uk supply the ES inserts?
Innovative Mounts 85a kit will sort you out

Traction bar - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Innovative-Mo ... 4637550842
^^These two have the added bonus of making it way easier to get your gearbox out
