yep 8-)
just odd that the bar is 23mm but has 22m bushes and is listed as 22mm
however this is good news as i will be able to use a spare set of es poly bushes i have as they are 23mm :)

I waited 12 weeks for that ARB to be delivered from Demon Tweeks. To stop me shouting at them, Whiteline sent me free adjustable drop links, that arrived in two days, that didn't fit the Lude anyway!!!

it must have come all the way from Australia :)
must admit it looked pretty rusty and i think some would have binned it
ive done a fair bit of refurb work to it and i had to cut the drop links off and order a new set from febi/bilstein

so it will live on when fitted to my lude :)
now ive just got to refurb the megan toe arms which have already had one repair done to them....

The £200 Megan toe arms were nearly new when she left me, what have they had done to them?

looks like one of the bearings has been replaced with a polybush and the same bearing on the other one has a fair bit of play in it so i will probably remove that and also fit a polybush - so it will be a matching and working pair.
the toe arms are the only suspension parts that have not been replaced on my lude and given the cost of the oem ones its a no brainer to fit these.
New aftermarket ones have come way down in price in the last few months with japspeed and us racing both doing identical parts at around the £100 mark ;)

Re: BB4 Wings West Front Bumper Milano Red

Post by vanzep » Tue Jun 23, 2015 8:15 pm

It was the perfect day to get the rattle cans out and have a go at refurbing the Wings West RS Front Bumper/Lip :)
Even got the clear coat on.
Inpired by @NafemanNathan pics that he put i decide to go for Milano Red on the lip. Im firmly decide upon getting the lude back to one colour namely R81-Milano Red. It may take me many years and eventually i will need the services of professional spray painter but its going to happen :)
Rattle cans will have to do for now ;)

next up is back bumper and WW rear lip - both need a fair bit of work done to them and ive never taken the back bumper off the lude so will be interesting to see what condition the bodywork is in. :?

Looks like you can do a pretty good job with the rattle can, anyway.
Always impressed by the continuing work you put into your car 8-)

A motor factor should be able to make paint up for you. I got a local one near me to make up a can for my 4G.
