Today I fitted my rear upper strut brace
Just need a 4G BB4 seat back/boot trim to complete the look, now the 4WS ECU isn't there anymore.

This upper brace I bought off ebay for £14.95, the seller states it fits "ALL" 4G Preludes but it wouldn't have fitted the 4WS which mine was, but now with the 2WS conversion it did fit, but the base plates needed a fair bit of surgery to get them to sit flat on the strut towers, obviously the 2WS version has slightly different rear shock towers, who knew !!! :?

And a few days ago I Polybushed these, along with the ARB mounts

You're not wrong mercutio, they were the biggest PITA trying to squeeze them in

I even made a tool with a long stud and sockets and sprayed them with "stuff".... but they just refused to move, it took ages :x

Today I've been a busy boy, what stated out as a little light lets take the offside headlight out and see if I can repair it as the mounts are broken, ended up with this
Image

And no the mounts couldn't be saved so I've bought another headlamp off the bay today, also both corner lights have broken mounts and the nearside front mount on the wing was bent, which hopefully I've managed to straighten, well enough to get the bumper to line up properly, which it didn't before.... well it looks similar to the off side, so hopefully it'll be ok.

The front has obviously had a couple of fairly hefty hits, with the last owners, my, my old people should never be allowed to drive

So I've derusted, and will spray something like StoneChip or Hammerite Smooth Direct To Rust on the front to get rid of any rusty bits which tbh, weren't that bad, which amazes me :)

Oh and the power steering cooler is a bit manky... so probably should do something with that while I have access.

But who ever at Honda thought putting bumper mountings hidden under headlamps, that you need to remove to get to, but can't remove the headlamp until the bumper is off, whats kicking up the backside... :?

Anyhoo..... onwards ;)

Father's day. Sailor Junior invited me to Loomey's for today's meet.
We were a bit late and most of the bikes had already left.
It's the thought that ... something or other.

Not today, but yesterday. Decided to have a wee trip to A&E, so cut a massive hole in my forearm! Hurrah!

The aftermath is stitches, a bandage, and an aching arm from a tetanus shot :x

PS - there is a before shot, but it's not very forum safe. Could stick it up in spoiler tags if anyone is that curious (I've been genuinely surprised how many people have asked to see  )

Warning! Only click this if you're NOT squeamish ..
