Well i tried to replicate the rubbing at lunchtime, going hard lock left and right, couldnt get it to rub :?
When i heard it originally i was pulling out of the drive and at full lock down the lowered kerb and the next time it happened was turning right at a mini roundabout where the road i wanted to go was uphill??

Also when i was checking the wiki section
If you go to tyre size guide further down the page there is a wheel fitment/size guide and on it it says for a 7" rim anymore than +51 offset could give the trouble im experiencing so why are they + 55 offset from honda :? :?
Assuming the wiki is correct of course

The higher the offset the more into the arch the wheel will sit, i.e. 51 will stick out further than 55.

Yeah i know my point is these are factory fitted wheels with et55 and yet the wiki suggests this is too much and may cause rubbing issues
So is the info in the wiki wrong?

That wiki info is as old as the hills. I do not know where it came from originally other than it was copied over from PUK.

My Rota wheels are ET 45 so stick out further than OEM Motegi / ATR and I am lowered around 40mm.

Is there any difference in the size of tyre? Do you have any recent wheel alignment print outs?
