Same, I used my UK H23 dizzy on my H22 (twice) with no problems. There isn't a difference between them.Merlin wrote:How so? Between me and Vanzep we have been trough a fair few and I cant remember us even know if they were UK or JDM.vtectom wrote:Don't be tempted by a uk one - timing will be out

Hmm. The only way I could see that being required would be if the belt wasn't timed properly? Kinda like what @Vanzep found?vtectom wrote:The guy I bought my bb1 from told me he'd
put on a 2nd hand uk dizzy & the car was
running terribly.
We had to drill out & make the adjustment
hole bigger to get the timing right.

yes timing will be out on cams if your turning the disti all the way to the firewall
im sure i read its about 8 degrees per tooth.
i had my disti turned all the way to the firewall as far as it would go and got it to about 13-14 degress when tdc is 15 with adjustment of +/- 2 - turns out both cams were out. I ran my lude like this for nearly 3 years
so they can run a tooth out.
do you have adjustable cam gears as they can slip....

@newkid has a nearly new td60u disti and a chipped p13 ecu (not sure if it is ukdm or jdm) - both were working as yesterday when they were removed
