Small update on the Prelude front,
the 5th gen is now sold due to time constraints to get it back up to scratch but that has given me a chance to spend some time on the 4th gen.
First thing I had to do was change the wheels and tyres, if there is one thing I cannot stand that is poor grip.
Had some OZ Superturismos hanging around so I decided to wrap them in some brand new Yoko Parada Spec 2's

A few days after fitting the wheels I decided to fit some random sleeved coilovers I had to the car.
With a little help from a close friend at south coast plasti dip I made up a loom and fitted this beauty

Pretty pleased with the end product of this.
After fitting all these bits I took the old girl on a trip to Amsterdam for a weekend for Pacha music festival, one of the funnest trips I've had in a while due to the car.

So at the moment she currently looks like this,

I absolutely love the look of the spec 2's
Next few jobs will be small bits but will keep updating.

Parada 2 are a great tyre
This worries me a little though...

Not that it even makes much of a difference, but are they Prelude specific?

Do you mean this type of thing?...llocke wrote:A few days after fitting the wheels I decided to fit some random sleeved coilovers I had to the car.

Unfortunately yes. They don't sit at all well on the base of the dampener and so quite often when risng over bumps can come unseated. Not good. And the lower they're made, the worse

i did find that when fitting them that they didnt sit to well. with a bit of adjustment i've got them pretty good in there, planning on getting some actual coilovers in the next month hopefully.
Cheers for the advise though I never really liked the sleeve design.
