Well you would have thought so eh!!, but it just won't go round the clutch res bracket, but its going back now, the seller has accepted a return, and tbh, I didn't want to start hacking lumps off the car, just to get the thing to fit to my satisfaction.Merlin wrote:USDM or not, it should fit. The generic EBay braces are the same.
You bend it out of the way, make a bracket for it, remove the OEM bracket and cable tie the reservoir to the foot of your brace, or simply relocate the clutch reservoir on one of the bolt holes further down the shock tower (there is a nice bolt hole available for it). I have done all of these at some point.hondaman wrote:but it just won't go round the clutch res bracket
Well I'm not adverse to a bit of bling under the hood, but I'm a bit past relocating parts just for bling sake these days, and tbh, it was supposed to be for the car so my thinking is, well it should just bolt straight onNafemanNathan wrote:Certainly not a direct fit if you want your engine bay to remain as Honda intended it thoughMerlin wrote:USDM or not, it should fit. It is no concern of Honda to make make provisions for space for aftermarket parts. If that is your thinking you will need to spend the time and cash to find a direct fit brace.hondaman wrote:but I'm a bit past relocating parts just for bling sake these days, and tbh, it was supposed to be for the car so my thinking is, well it should just bolt straight on
