Hey David.

Good choice on the radiator. You can fit 14" fans on it if you want to though :)

Lucky your bonnet pins weren't more central... You wouldn't want to have to reposition those ;)

Not sure about the completely missing slam panel now though :? Can you not build a bit of structure down in front of the top of the radiator? If you positioned two pieces of flat parallel, one above the other and then triangular brace them together it'd be pretty rigid and the air will still get through.

And a headlight air feed ay?

 ;)

Thanks Nathan .
Will look into strengtening the top.
Whats wrong with the airfeed dude?? :o

Forgot to metion , Pulles the oilpan.
Found some metal schavings that look like drill residue. Only a few. This can not be from a moving running engine so must be from fabrication.

Also importand question:

Shall I use the moroso aluminium oilpan or fit the oem pan with baffle..??????

The problem with the Moroso sump is it's designed for drag racing, it's not baffled for corners. @4thgenphil has one and is intending to add additional baffles though.

Do you have any idea what the swarf is from?

 agreed with nafe on the extreme front end cutting... I definitely wouldn't want to run without a slam panel, either.

Oooo its you who did that!! Didn't even realize! Nice job!
I'm affraid I'm going to copy you with the eyebrows too.
Need to cut the brackets of the nostrils so the brows will be the only way.

My airfilter need more cold air, this seems like a good sollution!

@ wurly , the slam panel, is that the lower beam? I will strengthen the front.

First two weeks in Bali

 No probs bud. Only messing ;)

Where else had you seen it?...

The slam panel is the top structure you've cut the middle portion out of.

Didn't you write a how to?
Gonna order a 14" slimfan And use one 12 and one 14" can not center the one on front the turbo so it needs to be a tad smaller.

Also ordered a oil restrictor and filter and -10AN return for my turbo oil lines.
It's a t3t4 ball bearing , have looked around and found lots of different views on using an oil restrictor.
I'm using a -3AN feed line and planning to make the hole 1.6 mm.
Any ideas on that?
Also the intercooler piping is going to be changed , it's going a more direct route and half the couplings.

I really don't know how to modify the moroso oil pan. Don't even get the design.. It stops the oil from going fwd in the pan due hard braking. But as it had a larger reservoir at the back it will run out of oil during acceleration.
Maybe I can screw a few plates so that won't happen..
Also the turbo return is further away and will have to go between the wastegate and downpipe.

A well.. I have two weeks on Bali to think about it.....

Yeah, I posted the progress up on my profile thread as I was making it.

I've not really looked at one, but surely it should be baffled so that you're not starved of oil under acceleration?... It's for drag after all.
