If this lasts 6 years I'll be very impressed  It's supposed to be a stop gap until we import something newer, but Laura really likes it already so who knows maybe it will stay. The rust on it is very limited though, probably a result of it not being driven much since 2009!

Most importantly though it sounds lovely when you boot it :)

The only real problem I foresee is that it can't manage speed bumps... I'm considering taking it to work tomorrow but I have no idea if I'll be able to get in to the car park :?

We had one in the family for a while. Really good fun, with a proper sports car feel.
It was also surprisingly comfy.

Well the sun was shining today :) and I must have been in a good mood, because the Poly bushes arrived from Strongflex this very morning for the rear upper arms and I was like scolded cat out of the traps....

Today I've discovered that using 4G (which I can pick up at home) is quicker than my Wi-Fi

...it's going to be a long summer unless I can find a job.

Don't worry about that - plenty to keep you busy in my barn, if you're bored! :D

I know what you mean, funnily enough I've no job either, because the people I started working for in Jan sacked me after 2 months (trial period they say) when I told them, I was going to be off for several months due to this accident with my hand.

And I have to say in spite of that fact, and that I can't bend my thumb, I'm having a ball, suns shining, and I'm doing what I love the must in this sort of weather.... pottering about working on my car's the operative phrase I think is "as a pig in s***" :D :D

And today I've spent 3 or 4 hours removing the front seats and cleaning and hovering the entire carpet with the aid of half a roll of duct tape, what must have been most of a small white dog, god I hate it when people let dogs run riot in a car :x

Still job hunting myself. Had two interviews so far, which I consider not bad in 'only' 2 months of looking. Have a 50/50 chance with the second one, maternity leave cover for 14 months. One little anecdote, a lot of temping jobs which were paid 8 -11 quid an hour 20 years ago, are now minimum wage. So much for the minimum wage 'protecting' workers!!

Try finding a job as a student who has holidays booked in May/June/July and is returning to uni in September. I'm basically looking for a job for 8 weeks :?

I'd probably do more harm than good

Anyone watching the tennis then?
