yeah thanks for your support on this Michael - think its fair to say i probably wouldnt have gone ahead with the cams if i hadnt seen how well it worked on your old Blue Lude.
its early days but looks like being the best mod i have done to date.
I know i never would have got round to saving enough money to go the Hondata S300 & Remap route

As usual they way of the lude is two steps forward and one back - on the way home on of my amber indicator reflectors fell off and i drove over it and smashed it to bits It was the last thing i did and obviously drokked it up

@vanzep Newkid has sent me a full set of indicators/reflectors, if you need the drivers side (I needed the passenger), I have that spare and can send it to you.

funny how things work out - i had just given them back to Michael who sent them to you and then you sent the drivers side reflector to me - all within the space of a week



just need to tint the new one to match

yeah man was a fantastic day
saw some epic lude driving today (im not talking about my car by the way)
and rounded it off by going to see a great led zeppelin tribute band with some old friends from school days
only down side is my new cams are catching me out - they are quicker up the rev range than i am used to so that was twice today i took them off the clock

car is pulling like a train but sounds very rattly from the top end - seems to have got worse in the last day or two although i did notice it was slightly more tappety when i picked it up but it has always sound like that anyway im going to take it back to the garage today and ask them about the valve clearances...

Ive just taken it down there and he has had a listen - not sure what it is so i will be dropping it off tonight so he can check it from cold start up next morning.
Its going really smooth with plenty power so im just hoping its valve clearances or something that just needs tightened up - im always optimistic when it come to my lude
ive got some rattling from the exhaust and or heatshield so i let him know about that as well in case thats amplifying things.
The rattling from the engine is only noticable at idle and it seems to get louder/quieter throughout the day - was really noticeable yesterday , was noticeable this morning and was quiter after i got back from the garage
