Well the way I make it the surface doesn't need sanding, you need to sand the edge down to size cut the intricate bits with a junior hack saw and drill the holes.

No fancy tools required, took me about 4 hours to sand and cut to size

Version 2 installed, gone for an alternative install this time and put it under the bonnet latch set up rather than over. Gives a flatter fit...

I think the fibre being a bit flatter looks like a smoother fit. Not 100% about missing the top of the rad tho, counted the rows and it misses about 10% of the rad but I guess it'll have better efficiency on the other 90% so swings and roundabouts

I'm thinking version 3 will have a slight bend from the end of the grill up going to the slam panel to catch all of the rad :)

Make a extra little bit to cover the radiator. :D That will be perfect IMO.

If I can get hold of a heat gun I can put a bend in the perspex mould pretty easily then jobs a goodun :D
