Curve is nice indeed, can't wait to take it out for a spin.
But going to redesign the radiator and intercooler setup first. So happy with the powercool fluid that saved me!

Also looking into flex fuel ! Mainly going to run e85 but its hard to come by so if I cant I can still use normal fuel.

Great numbers so far, sounds like there are some cooling issues to sort out. That first run when the boost pipe disconnected, does that prompt you to upgrade to something more robust to connect them?

Going to relocate my intercooler so will have to reroute the piping anyway..
The hoseclamp wasn't just after but ontop of the pipebead so it just slipped. don't think it will happen again. but it will

okeeeee ... feeling a little sick at the moment..

I decided to get straigt at rebuilding my cooling setup.
Plans to make a new front beam that sits lower and further to the front so I can mount a new fullsize radiator on it and the intercooler. I am going to try to relocate the oilcooler to the side.

In the process I had to disconnect my oilcooler and at that point I started feeling sick...

At this point my oilcooler was already off. You can see my intercooler fits really nicely inbetween the top and bottom beam.



Now the radiator that was hidden away behind the intercooler. I can not fit a dualcore full size radiator because of the turbo.



Radiator removed , nice to see the turbo and downpipe setup. Look at the big hollow beam ...




now its gone!



My tractionbar is very strong but will fabricate a new front structure that holds the intercooler and fullsize radiator..



Now the trouble..
Im using running-in oil from millers, the car had done aprox 100 KM on the dyno, It sounds good , havent done a compression test yet.


The oil out of the cooler was black...

Need some serious answers not a guess or comments of guys who don't know.

I spoke to my tuner and he said this is nog good and not normal but the engine ran very strong and it could be because it wasn't cleaned well enough.
He says check oilpan and maybe cranckshaft bairings and then just give it another shot.
Im planning to do just that and fluch the whole oil system out twice before starting it again...
