The UK 4th gen 2.2 VTEC gearbox is the M2F5. The UK/EU Ludes all got the same engine and gearbox combo's apart from the EU got the option of a H22 5th gen with ATTS.

M2A4 is the non-LSD JDM 4th gen box.

Merlin is right it is a UKDM BB1and will have M2F5 gearbox (unless its been swapped out at some point)
Ive seen the French thing on the vin plate before on my first breaker and it was UKDM BB1 with M2F5. It is a bit misleading but trust me its not French

Im sure if you ask any UKDM BB1 owners to check their vin plates it will be the same as shown in the pic

Right, I'm gonna bite...
I've seen several 'breaking' threads recently with absolutely no pictures at all (at least this one does have pics) or a few pics with no username in any pics of the car.
I play by the rules, so why is no one else getting picked up for not doing so any more? Have they been ditched or something?
