Well.. another long day in my garage! Getting things done so it can get an MOT and get tuned!

First I helped out my friend Edson with his steering rack. we did the full powersteering removal with help of Nathans/richy's how-to.
Took us 3 hours and it all workedout very well!
wasn't really sure what to do with the piston as it said filling in the text but we filed it down a bit :D
Even the weld on the shaftholder came out very well! next up is my car! anyone a spare steering rack?? :)

Then I started with my brakes.. didn't have my pads in yet and had to fill and bleed the brake system.
I have a easy bleed but it doesn't fit the lude rezervoir. so used the other collector can I have with a oneway valve so I can bleed it by myself.
Only downside is, how do I keep my rezervoir from sucking air.... Can't pump the brakes and keep an eye on the rezervoir... can I??
well an Ipad helps :geek:

Yes its the ATE super blue DOT4
Also changed my brake lines for some brand new Goodridge ones!

Then cut a massive hole in my bumper!
did't want to think about it too long but the oilcooler needed more air!

Also messhed all the holes up :ugeek:
Didn't like the silver in the nose and front so took my time to spray them in the same colour of the bumper (well almost).

Last but not least I cleaned and reinflated and fitted my 18" Lenso wheels..

what do you guys think! (street setup)
Don't even need a door :D

Looks a bit like Signet Silver but darker, is it a stock Honda colour your car is painted or did you go custom? Looks great either way 8-) Seriously impressed by the level of work going in to this build.

 that is excellent use of the iPad, love it 8-)
I use my phone with flash to take pics inside areas I can't get my head in, but hadn't thought of using it live video to help with thongs like that :D

Thanx guys !
The colour is custom. Its an MG Xpower grey but with a little cristal flake in it. I'm so in love with this titanium grey silver. My Audi is almost the same.
One day its going to be wrapped or repainted.
It has many chips and scratches :|

@wurly , at first I wanted to use a mirror.. Didn't have one. normaly I don't bring my ipad but wanted to have a bigger screen to read the powersteering removal how to!
It works very well and only took me a sec!
Till soon guys!

Well.. Its was time for a dyno session!

If you don't feel like reading: spoiler alert

10psi/ 0,7 bar 371 bhp @7240 rpm 410 Nm (302 lbs) @ 5250

I picked the worst day to go.. The company who were suppose to place my front window have let me down. hey say they can't get the seal around it anywere . I had to go without a windshield. and just that day... rain..
Bought myself a good carcover and my dad picked up a trailer from a friend.

Saturday morning in the wind and heavy drizzle we loaded the car. soaked but the inside of the car was just about dry.
My poor dad with his injured finger.... He got up at 7AM and sat in the car all day. we didn't get back till 23:00 that night ..

It was a two hour drive to the dyno. getting there they were still working on another car so had to wait for a few hours.
Finally it was my turn.

I noticed already it wasn't running right.. quickly discovered one of my injector wires came loose. when that was fixed and the car was strapped down and the tuner put on his goggles we started.
We were running on the wastegate springs only. no boost controller just yet.
here is the setup again:

running on 98 pumpgas and 10 psi (0,7bar) of boost
Engine:
• H22A Darton Sleeves
• Arias pistions (9,5:1)
• Custom forged conrods
• ARP mainstuds
• ARP headstuds
• reconditioned and mildly ported head
• Ferrera valves
• Supertech valvesprings and dishes
• kaizenspeed balance shaft removal kit
• Skunk2 intake magnifold ported to 70mm
• Skunk2 70mm throttle body
• Skunk2 camplug
• B&M baffled catch can with AN10 lines from valve cover
• All New bearings
• new OEM waterpump
• new OEM oil pump
• H23 pulley without powersteering loop(balanced 10.000rpm)
• H23 manual tensioner conversion
• Energy suspention engine mounts 75A

• ACT prolite flywheel (balanced 10.000rpm)
• LSD Racing Dragger clutch kit / 6 puck sprung disc (balanced 10.000rpm)
• Quaife LSD

Turbo setup:
• Turbonetics T3/T4 stage 2 .63AR ceramic ball bearing turbo
• Tial MV-R 44mm wastegate
• Chasebay/MAC electronic boost controller
• Turbonetics raptor BOV
• NEUKIN Equal length RAM horn.
• big universal intercooler
• 3" custom downpipe + full 3"exhaust, de-cat, single muffler

Fuel system:
• Injector dynamics ID1000 injectors
• AEM high volume fuel rail
• AEM fuel pressure regulator
• Walbro 255lph fuel pump

Ignition/Engine Management
• OBD1 ignition +P28
• Innovate LC-1 widebandcontroller and O2 sensor
• MSD Distributor Cap
• MSD Spark Plug Wires
• MSD Blaster Coil
• MSD 6AL multispark system

Runs went well but coolant temperature was rising quicly. We decided to check the thermostat, that was fine.
Found out there was hardly any flow trough the intercooler into the radiator. moved the radiator a bit and tried again.
Temperutures were now a steady 110 celcius. witch is way to high . Luckily I use the waterless coolant so its nog going to boil till 180 degree.

We did some more runs and kept going up in rpm. power was increasing and already in low rpms we got close to 300 bhp

After a cool down period we decided to do a few full power runs as everything looked good apart from the watertemp.

Results are realy prommising! Have lots and lots to do but I know now what potential this setup has :D

vids and pics:

first high rpm run my intercooler pipe blew off:

this was the one of the good runs:

well here is the final printout:

I have a massive list to do.

plans are to upgrade the cooling system.
Prepare for a E85 conversion. all the components should be capable but will double check.
If the cooling issue is sored and the car is MOTed I will do another high boost session on E85

:? Seal? What seal?
The standard 4g screen is a PU sealed screen (i.e. fitted with PU sealant out of a gun) and then the external trim gets pushed on to clips, afterwards.

Or you can use the 5g trim (as vtecmec has just done) which should be easy to get hold of and does need to be fitted at the same time as the screen is fitted.

Great figures btw 8-)

:? single roller Dyno's scare the jobby out of me... :?

well mean the trim or strip around the window. Dont care they are just talking crap. And what?? 5 gen trim around the windshield ? Window is not the same size! Im thinking about just glueing the window in. Don't even want the trim. Is that gonna work?..
The dyno has two rollers or do you mean om the front axel? Looked like it had 4wd :D
