I think you have to do it in a certain way or it's ignored.wurlycorner wrote:...if you're not sure you want to vote for anyone, don't forget you can always protest vote by spoiling your ballot paper (write on it, put more than one cross etc.). They get counted and announced, so it does 'register'.
A vote for "none of the above" is as valid as a 'normal' vote and definitely better than not voting at all, IMO. It's still getting your voice heard.

Tell me about it matey, I was frustrated to say the least. The town I live in has a fairly large proportion of wealthy older people within the populace - not to stereotype but I imagine that has something to do with itwurlycorner wrote:![]()
But seriously, only Tory and Ukip standing locally?that's jobby having such a small choice!

Totally know what you mean, if you're voting UKIP you clearly haven't read all their policies, or you're actively racist. There is no third reason.jjmartin349571 wrote:UKIP is the one that really gets me riled up, I've had about a half dozen people I know try and persuade me to vote UKIP using unfounded, racist and ignorant arguments. They're people who should know better too, and it's massively knocked my opinion of them on a personal level.
