Its such a stunning car. I really want a race car 4th gen. With the optional indian domestic market poping out driveshafts.

Many thanks. The car is looking and performing how I wanted it to
The new camera setup worked well and the Performance Box gives the data overlay and allows analysis of the lap data afterwards.

That shaft has been removed a few times over the last year. You are meant to replace the set ring every time you remove the shaft but I haven't always done it. I do have a new one so that should solve the issue. I have never had a shaft pop out before.wurlycorner wrote:Any thoughts on how to stop the driveshaft popping out of the box?

i know ive mentioned this before but that was Epic out on track. Many thanks for the passenger ride - I know you look on it as an opportunity to scare me shitless
The new cf aero and custom meister coilovers are great additions to the lude
Only thing i can think of regarding the driveshaft is that you did follow a car in front off line at the top of the chicane and clipped the kerb hard - that might have been enough to unseat the driveshaft
Fingers crossed that there is no damage to the gear box.

Yeah you might be right. You can see in the vid that it was quite a bump. I am sure it will be fine, new set ring, new fluid, put it all back together again

Hi Merlin, first of all, congratulations with you little boy! Great news!
Your car loods great! You do notice a big difference with the bigger rear spoiler and splitter? Or is it hard to tell with the new suspension setup?
What APR splitter is it? Looks like it fits the car really well!
Rear spoiler is huge
Any plans for a rear diffuser?

Car looks awesome bud. You should get that first black and white image printed on to a massive canvas
... Or get @Bennyboy on it
Car sounds awesome to. Shame about the driveshaft. I was going to say it sounded like you hit a few of the kerbs pretty hard, and that explanation about the clip rings could be it... Hopefully
Good camera angle to. I don't normally like a camera mounted so far back as you miss all the action, but that works well. Nice LG advert as well
... And what beautiful eyes too
I'm intrigued about the rear wing effect as well.
Oh, and how's Nathan doing?

Such a cool car that added aero looks brilliant..
I too am intrigued about the affect of the front splitter mostly, can you feel much difference in front end grip?
Also is it directly bolted to the front chassis legs or just to the bumper?

RE: The Aero. It is hard to tell what is doing what since I that was the first time out with the new suspension too. In the wet will give me the best indication if the aero is doing anything as my rear end liked to step out. At the moment I think it is doing stuff as the car feels super planted, very balanced with no noticeable understeer or over steer. I wanted the wing as I am running aggressive rear toe, which is fine in the dry, but in the wet I felt the car needed a little more stabilisation in corners where I am doing 50mph+.
The splitter and wing go hand-in-hand IMO. No use having one without the other or the balance might be out. The splitter is fixed to the bottom of the bumper only instead of directly to the chassis. The car is so low that I need to take the front bumper off to get the car on the trailer etc... The bumper is fairly solid and it all seems fine. As for the wing it feels like you could lift the whole car up by it
gb-lude, I do not know what the splitter was originally. I bought it off a member on this forum. It will be something like this though:
