H22A EG LSI Track Project

Post by Stealthdog » Sun May 03, 2015 8:20 pm

When my dash was out, I proceeded with ripping out heating, all the controls ect, I cut out all the brackets ect and shaved as much weight out of it as possible. I also made a couple of cheeky blanking plates :-)

Cheers Josh, a hell of a lot of works gone into it so far, and Iv done nearly all the work myself, been a massive learning curve.

I figured that once all is built, bedded in and Its dialled in, I fancy turboing it, so the longer ratio box will come into its own

Looking good.

Nice engine you picked up there, too! What was it out of and how much did you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking?

I quite fancy doing a wire tuck, but as for shaving etc. an engine bay... sod that!

This is coming along nicely. I want to do a full on track build on day.
As you are, full stripping out, back to basics.

Look forward to seeing the progress

Cheers guys, eg h22 swap is not for the faint hearted, things seem simple on paper, I have that Honda swap book and it was complete useless as everything is usdm format so that was a waste of money, utter ball ache but its progressing well, it's a rebuilt high comp lude lump running 219bhp on p13, engine and box owe me somewhere north of £1k
