yeah 16" with 205/50's are the recommended size - i went with the larger sidewall 55's to keep the cost down and get a bit more mpg and ground clearance in the winter months
i guess im lucky ive got a couple of sets of 16" wheels - tyre prices can be a bit of pain in the 205/50 profile and most people these days seem to go for 17's
i only went with 15's as i wanted to see how stock set up felt compared to the 16's :)

Why does the front look higher than the rear? Is that just the angle of the photo?

cheers for the photos @Merlin :)
and thanks for the passenger ride in your track lude - that was epic - you were going so fast and must have been generating some G force at the third last corner so much so that i actually felt a bit dizzy
pity about the driveshaft - hope you get it sorted ok ;)

Yep that does look odd doesnt it - must be the angle of the ground the car was sitting on either that or the suspension is way off on one side :x
will have to go and look at this today...

there is definately a bigger gap at the front but im sure its ok - angle of photo and camber of ground has exagerated this ;)
im thinking its progressive springs on the back so less compression whilst the fronts sit a bit higher but compress more when you get going.

newkid came round and parked his lude next to mine and it has same gap front to rear as mine and he has just changed his suspension to koni/teins practically identical to my koni/eibachs. He says his konis are set up as follows: rears are on the middle setting which is standard height and the fronts are on the highest which again is standard. Im sure my set up is same.

anyway
ive just done a run down to Galashiels this morning and the car is sweet :P
the Bridgestones are the best tyre ive ever had fitted to the lude :)

Sorry, I was't implying you had fooked up
I suggested it because waaaaaaaaaay back when I first fitted the konis I had, in my haste I put two on with the actual spring perches, not the height setting, the wrong way round
Glad it's running sweet. I so want you to see it through with this car and get the arches done, but I know it's easy to say, just you've come such a long way with it. :)

 no worries bud i knew you and wurly were not implying anything but i do like to check things out if anyone spots a potential issue ;)
the konis were 2nd hand so i have never looked at them - it was only recently that i found out from a post on the forum that you can adjust the height (off the car only) with the perch :)
i appreciate all feedback 8-)

Or by flipping the silver perch over....and putting it on upside down.....if you're a tit...like me.

The daft thing is it's fairly obvious when it's wrong, as it doen't self-centre on the spring properly.
