4ws steering angle sensor question

Post by johnierice » Wed Apr 29, 2015 10:47 pm

flashcode 21 has popped up which is main Steering Angle sensor. Has anyone changed one of these and did it cure the problem or can I adjust/reset it on the steering column?

You can adjust it if you take the steering wheel off.

It is a 5g, from what I have read it's not adjustable apparently, will pull it off and have a look this weekend.

If I can adjust it what shall I actually do? Just move it about and keep trying the ignition on?

I would try to replace the sensor...

problem is finding one and removing one

don't think anyone on the forum has successfully fixed this code before :(
