I actually prefer the look in the 'before' pic!

What sizes were they?

Looking good my friend. I always think smaller wheels with bigger tyres look more track dedicated..

Im quite impressed with them so far and they were good value at £54 each from Camskill ;)
They do look like they could handle a track day or two and im surprised at how comfortable they feel on Edinburghs rutted roads.

Ive got to agree the PIAA Nakajima Alloys are a good looking wheel but ive had them on the lude for over 15 years now as they came with the car when i bought it in 1999/2000 :?
The PiAA are 16x7 with ET 51 and running 205/55/16's Rainsports 3 on them
The Slipstreams are 15x7 with ET40 and running 205/55/15's
The car is lowered on koni/eibach combo

Thats a very good point as they do change the look of the car quite dramatically imo - initially i was slightly disappointed but it is a different more track focused look like you say and im quite happy with it :)

I'd like to get some 16" wheels for mine - I think, properly shod, they look better than the oem 15s, and with 17s you need quite low profile tyres which here in Ireland where the roads are resplendent with potholes don't provide enough cushioning.

But while 15s and 17s seem quite easy to get at reasonable costs, 16s seem to be like the proverbial hens' teeth.
