I have kleptomania,
But when it gets bad,
I take something for it.

RWD, simple mechanics, used in loads of motorsport and loads of tuning parts available. Gaurantees classic status.hondansxr wrote: so how on earth is a mk 1 0r 2 escort or any of that old drivel a "classic"

Was at the club meet this morning and asked the same question. The answered were interesting, but came down to these basic, simple points. Any performance or sports vehicle that has no driver aides will become a classic due to the enjoyability of man (or woman) and machine.

Not all of them. Things like the Alfa 4C, Toyota GT86, and a few others have either no, or minimal driver aides. Something like the new Focus RS with its drift button however, no future classic there!!

The focus will be wanked over forever, unfortunately...
