Agreed there is a time and place.
However, being told I'm sat too close to another student 20 minutes into the test is not the time, especially when I sat in the place allocated, i.e. where the invigilator placed the paper. Apparently it is okay for an invigilator to interrupt the exam to tell me this and then ask everyone on the row to shuffle about, but apparently I am disturbing people when I ask if they'd not thought about this situation when laying the papers out pre-exam or during the 10 minute interval in which rules/regs are read out.
Obviously, I made it worse when said it is also disturbing when they call for everyone's attention just to bring it to our attention that when browsing the paper, they spotted a spelling mistake in a question (that had no bearing on how the question would be interpreted).
An all around successful day.
