The ECU reset on a 3rd gen involves pulling the radio fuse for 30 seconds and then putting it back in.

It's not a learning ECU though, so if that fixes the problem I'll be amazed!

Oh :(

Anyway search on internet says can reset either by:
ECU fuse
Clock fuse
Or both
But best way to disconnect battery.

I ll disconnect battery tonight.
Then have a drive tomorrow night...

Have you changed the iacv? That's the problem. Does it do it with the iacv unplugged?

How do u unplug IACV?
I heard unplugging MAF might also do the trick - but i dont have a MAF do i?

Yes. Get the car warm and idling. When it starts hunting between revs unplug the iacv and see if it changes. If it does then the iacv is fubard.

90% of the time Idle and rev problems are down to the iacv on Honda.

But what would cause the IACV to failed?
The garage said the IACV was cleaned as a whistle (very little muck)???
