Mine tested fine too.
They get crap on the PCB and inside that is normally high resistance but occasionally drops low enough to conduct a small current. That's why trying cleaning is a good idea.

Well I now have a working clock, thanks to a nice man not far from me who's parting out a 94 Prelude, he gave me the whole fuel/temp/clock module for 30 euro.
So with his switch and mine I was alt least able to work out that it wasn't the switch causing the problem with my clock, it was the clock pcb itself. I checked all the solder joints etc, but it still didn't work.
So replacement now fitted and working fine!
What's the module to the left of the clock, with a white plastic box round it?
