My passenger side rear brake caliper is shot, beyond repair and I need a replacement urgently as the car is my daily.
Has anyone bought from here before? Does this look like the correct one for my 1994 BB1? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-PRELUDE ... 5d44eee5e4
Brakes International want over £100 although you do get about 30 quid back if you send your old one back assuming it meets with their satisfaction.
What is the best option? I don't have the technical know how or time to repair mine and as it is original I would be happier just replacing the part. The one on the other side went about a year ago under the previous owner.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

That's being sold by eurocarparts (they have another brand name they use on ebay).
According to their website, it's overhauled by Pagid, so it will be fine.
Either brakesinternational, or eurocarparts, won't make much difference.
Applying a surcharge on calipers is normal and as long as it's complete, you get it back when you return your old one, no problems.
I'm surprised there isn't a surcharge on the carparts4less one

Cheers Iain, so carparts4less is part of euro car parts?wurlycorner wrote:That's being sold by eurocarparts (they have another brand name they use on ebay).

After more investigation the part number from euro car parts and car parts 4 less are exactly the same so I have gone for the car parts 4 less one as it is cheaper even when taking into account the money you would get back for the surcharge, plus it means I don't have to send off the old caliper

Nice find, mine need doing too. Bit busy though... How many hours labour do you reckon a garage would charge for replacing rear calipers, discs and pads and bleeding?

If the discs and pads are 4k miles old and the caliper has only just started sitcking, I'd expect them to be absolutely fine.
I guess a garage would charge 2 hours for that job?
