Close, but no banana Nafe.

Yep, she's gone to the bodyshopto have the bumpers repaired (since I haven't managed to find better replacements over the last year) and the dodgy bits of paint done (bonnet, bootlid, spoiler, bumpers).
As dropped off at 8pm last night...

I'm hoping it won't be a respray because a) generally the car and paint on it is good, b) the extra aggro and time in full strip. But... The problem is they'll probably have to blend the bonnet and boot into the front and rear wings, so by then, you've done most it anyway and there are a few rust marks around both windscreen trims, so... I can see myself on a late dash over there one night this week, to do a load more stripping :(

Drax is right though - the car looks amazingly good naked. The shell and all the front components are in better nick than any of our other ludes, by a long way... Strangely though, the rear bumper bar was badly corroded and the bottom of it on one side snapped  so I need to swap that from a spare (which is bent  )

Ok, first update...
It's gonna get a bootlid swap
The current one is rippled, whereas the one on the breaker is mint - even though that will need spoiler holes drilling in it and a spray inside and out, it's less work/better than filling the old one.
