you started it, that does not mean you get to control where it goes  :P

I think the one thing we can all agree on in any insurance thread is that it makes no real intuative or logical sense but feels arbitrary and draconian in its pricing.

Insurance is the most effective idea a bookies ever had. You get people to bet on thingsNOT happening year after year... Wow, thats the kinda gambling racket that can go on for life.... oh.

A chap I used to play cricket with would try to get us to go with his firm for all sorts of insurance and similar products. He liked to bang on about how good his actuaries were.
Until I pointed out that he was trying to persuade an ordinary punter like me to bet against the best. It was a logic he hadn't considered ...

The near constant hemorrhaging of multiple fist fulls of hard earned cash getting ready for this move has meant that the licence to drive the damn thing has been put back to the second half (ish) of this year. No issue as he is not supposed to be moving much at all this whole next 12 months. It might be a winter project. Buying the truck at the top of the budget, the subsequent servicing and modification and buying a massive box trailer kinda soaked up a few grand I had earmarked for other stuff. Licence upgrade included.... and now the missis is badgering that she needs a horse trailer before we move... I told her she can have a Whores trailer and start making some fu-cking cash back. She told me to go f-uck myself and give her the money instead  I love her so much.

The national meet is going to have to happen somewhere else :( Probably with a different host. I just dont have access to the space like I used to come the end of this month.

As long as I can have another go at trying to burn my tent to the ground at 5 in the morning I'm happy!

Hopefully something will come along, it really was a cracking event last year.

Today I got 2886.41 for an accident I was in. All I had to do fill out a web-form on a Somalian website. Not sure if I'm getting it in GBP or SOS, though. :D
