Car's looking gorgeous! :) Good old Hold Dealership, how long did they keep you waiting it the reception area before they bought out the part, when it was Stratstone Honda it was like spending nights over at the dealership to collect 1 part!

Weight of car, distribution of weight, contact area - I would imagine it's some combination of these and a lot of assumptions. Take it with a pinch of salt.

I think I'm more concerned with their use of have but oh well, can't have it all.

Er
Guys?

This time 230miles from home ...

My engine oil looks a bit low?
Image

1. How much oil does my car uses over a 6month period?
2. Does it need topping up over 12months?
3. Which oil type do i need to buy?

Cheers?

Yeah, that's low.
But - is the car parked on the level/flat? Was the dipstick pushed fully home before checking?

1. Only you can tell us that!
2. It may do, depends how many miles you do, if it leaks or burns oil a lot etc. Like any car, check it regularly and keep it between the hi and low marks.
3. Any semi-synthetic 10W-40 oil for petrol engines.
