You could try and get a UK CAT and hope that the exhaust system is able to be brought forward on its rubber hangers by 5cm.

thanks for the suggestion but i think there will probably the usual issue with slightly different bolt hole spacing on the flange

Standard cat then get a little spacer made up with the right flanges?

Assuming that was directed at me... Not between UK and UK. That issue only occurs when swapping between JDM and UK.

hmmm
so uk H22A5 cat plus 5cm spacer with bolts holes drilled in it

might need longer bolts but it does sound like a good option

You might not even need a spacer you pull the exhaust up a bit closer. There is always a bit of wiggle room with those rubber hangers.

I have an A5 cat for sale, done less than 1000 miles, I only used it for MOTs, The flanges are as new.

Looking for £40 collected for it if your mate is interested?
