How Not To Drive - Youtube Video I've Made

Post by fefelarue » Fri Mar 13, 2015 4:24 pm

I've got so sick of careless bad driving that I've started filming every car journey I do.

Over the last two weeks of driving to work, I've got enough footage of arseholes who can't drive to make this video

I'll probably make it a regular thing haha.

I think you're to picky, and defo there are "lot better" drivers around who deserve more for being called like you did in this movie title

^

Your saltiness is worse than their driving IMO.

FeFe, you have anger of the head.

Ps. Very poor anticipation at 3:40 ;) :D

I think I'm allowed to be picky when they're doing these things in a one tonne lump of metal at 80mph. It's not like they're pushing in a queue in a shop or standing in the way of someone on a pavement, mistakes in a car will kill people.

As you say, and other people will probably agree, my 'saltiness' is a bit much, but if it makes them realise they might be doing something wrong, i will continue to beep people.

And at 3:40, i knew the car MIGHT pull out, but i pulled in in plenty of time way before he indicated to allow the car behind me to pass me. I was ready to brake all along and i did brake, but it's still his fault for not looking before pulling out, hence the beep :)

It was his fault, I agree.

I do wonder, and I'm not saying you're wrong here, but I do wonder if your approach does educate people, or just winds them up.

I think it's perhaps the way you let them know. These people are clearly oblivious and don't notice you flashing from many many meters away, roaring past them and beeping when you get alongside could create an unfavourable situation. In the majority of these clips the road is empty anyway, I'm not sure that one person sitting in the middle lane (not brilliant, I know) is causing you that much inconvenience.

Saltiness wasn't referring to your language or the way you let them know, BTW, more your apparent tears over something that we all know goes on and just have to deal with because you can't go around 'educating' people at 80mph and expect to make a difference at an individual level ;)

Granted there was some actual dangerous driving in there.

Disclaimer: IMO

Oh I'm sure it winds them up. But they wind me up :P

I'm not trying to change the world donald. It was more a video to show how many times I see this on a daily commute. I choose to deal with these people by beeping at them in the hope they might think "why was that guy beeping at me?" and mayyyybe eventually learn to drive properly. Other people ignore them and just drive around them...

i have no problem with using the horn its there to be used i take it all through the video your flashing your lights as well? you do seem to be a bit Mr Angry

Nobody made you the driving skills adjudicator your right there are a lot of people out there that seem to have gotten their licence out of lucky bags but you could cause an accident yourself if you drive alongside and then sound your horn like that.

It's a bit like a tank simulator was replaced with a Honda Prelude  Maybe rather than popping your lights up you should pop up a cannon and target crosshair and blast them off the road
