35 quid for some spigot rings? They saw you coming. I got some on eBay pretty cheap, will have a look when I get home.

Halfords do perfectly acceptable spade connectors mate, is there not a local branch? Most small motor factors will close at 12 on a Saturday, all my local ones do.

PTFE tape would be the easiest solution for the enlarged hole in your boot for the spoiler. What size spade connectors do you need, I might have a few spare in the garage.

I know what u mean ref PFTE tape

But I don't think it s good enough for a tight fit to pull spoiler against boot to make water tight.

Even though I am selling Luke, it doesn't feel right -
If I want to fix it, I fix it proper or then I leave it....if u know what I mean?

Update

Hopefully the following will help to firmly fix my rear spoiler on boot (after removed 3 months ago):
1. Ordered HeliCoil Repair Kit from eBay for M7 bolts
2. Ordered some new M7 bolts

Following allow to replace existing 17" alloys with 15" :
3. After no luck finding 56.1 to 59.1mm spigot rings - ordered some from the Czech Republic

4. Monday buy insulated spade connectors to replace fog bulbs :)

I think that's everything i can fix (except rust, electric aerial, air con, damaged driver bolster, paint patch in rear carpet)...

...ready to sell! :(

No advert yet.
Probably stick a FOR SALE on car window first.
Then Gumtree
Then piston head and so forth til finally eBay auction...

I do hope those spigots fit!
Coz already spent £7 on those 2 bought yesterday :
56.1 - 57.1 : too small
56.6 - 58.6 : just a teeny bit too small (not sure 56.6 is too big for wheel hub)
So, the ordered 56.1 - 59.1 should be perfect!
(Knowing Wayne s luck - probably don't fit too! :()
