thanx Nucleu! wait till you see the finished product!
Only problem is attatching the curved bit to the dash, will have to make a few small brackets or lips to bolt it to and the dash and the alu.. will try to keep it clean.

As for the battery terminals for jump starting, had you considered an Anderson plug?
Never heard of the anderson plug till now. Been looking into it and it could work.

Only problem is it will exclude other peoples jump leads and chargers.
I will have to get 3 connectors for : charger, jumper cables and my jumpstarter pack.
Also don't realy want to cut the clamps of my very expensive 700 amp jump pack.
So good call and probably a little lighter than the setup I have but not practible enough for me.

Fair do's.
They're the connectors that would commonly be used on race cars and on industrial car jump packs (on the jump pack ends of the leads), is why I suggested them.

EDIT..

looking at parts on ebay. modifying the bracket and plugs in the car itself isn't a problem..
Will keep this in mind for the near future.. Have to get on with the rest. Very good tip though, thnax.. should have seen it before.

Proper job 8)

When it comes to it I'm going to do similar with mine, although I'll keep the number plate surround.

Did you have fun aligning those catches? ;-)

He Nathan, Yes had loads of fun!! best thing I did in years!!
Had to try fit about a milion times and at the end bend one a few mm. Its a very very thight fit now but thats good.

Now for the progres.. I have done alot.. but nothing to post a picture of

Made brackets to mount my Longrace wideview mirror. I want it to be adjustable so that took some creative thinking and alot of metal work. Will post a picture when they are welded to the cage. Have to mount the seat first to find its best position. Did notice I can't see F-ALL with that cage behind me :D

The back window is in!!!
Used nylon rings and special screws together with proper window glue kit. Damn thats nasty stuff.. I have a good handheld kit pistol??? (what do you call that thing in the UK? ) But its very hard to squeeze it out anyway.. palm of my hands are bruised..

I'm sure that lexan window is not gonna come off,not even without doors @ 180 MPH
Tha metal/rubber strip at the bottom between my bootlid and the window was a bit of a problem.
The bodyshop who repainted my car 10 years ago made a mess and the brackets were glued in.
I have used a strong adhesive kit (not the window stuff) to fit it and clampt it down.

Would have loved to post a picture of my back-end (well my cars back-end  )

Also have lots and lots of parts comming in.

Ordered:

15 liters waterless cooling fluid (powercool 180)
15 liters syntetic oil 5w50 (shell Helix ultra)
7 liters mineral break in oil 10W40 (KROON)

LED lights for my 3rd brakelight
switchpanel
box full of blade fuses
gaugepods

and still waiting for my EGT and water temp guage.

Till next week guys!

Here they are, could not drive past my garage after work without having a look at the rear window and the strip below it.
Still have to paint the strip and gonna try to fit the rubber surround around the back window.

Spoiler is a full carbon (think APR) low wing

must say.. still in love the color of the car together with the black and carbon..

Wish the previous owner of the window let the protective film on on the outside.. but will cover the window as much as possible. At least its still on the inside ;)

PS, PRCT is short for Prelude Racing Team. Me and my friend, who gave up on his prelude  , started it back in 2009 or so. Not much going on with that but would love to start it up again... anyone interested? :D

Looks awesome dude. I've started to consider a bigger wing for mine eventually. I never used to like the idea, but I've seen a few now that do look pretty mean
