She will get there buddy, I'm a fabricator by trade so a bit of welding won't hurt and neither will some custom made alloy parts
oh also bought new wheels

Looking good. The white wheels really suit a black lude
The B pillar is a real surprise - they don't rust there!

Welcome to LG!!
A few of us on here are heavily into our track cars. A lude is a good choice, it may be heavier than a Civic but it sure handles better
For good tack fun I recommend upgrading the brakes a little and a set of coilovers. You'll get the most fun for your cash that way.
I have also moved this thread over to the projects section

Cheers guys, I'm not made of money so bare with me while build it, the brakes I have in mind are stoptech disks with ferodo ds3000 pads, I'm not aiming for big power this year as the priority is to get squared away and get the basics sorted out, when the cars ready and I have the basic systems uprated, I may start chasing power then

It is where we all started. My 4th gen started out as a cheap track toy. I wouldn't go with the DS3000 as they are considered as disc eaters due to their compound. The Ferodo DS2500 will be plentyStealthdog wrote:I'm not made of money so bare with me while build it

I've never had any problems with the ds3000's? I had them fitted on my 106 GTI track/street car, had Godspeed 300mm disks and brembo twin pot calipers, was gonna stick with what I'm used too lol, I had EBC red stuff on it before on 283 vented discs and they warped my discs,
