Re: Best tyers
Are these for road use or track
Road use either toyo proxies, Rainsports or vredestein sessantas
Track r888 but pricey
Or I've got nankang ns2r in soft compound but they are not good on cold wet roads

I had T1R's on Nurburgring and they were fine, when get warmed up even very good. But I don't have any experience with semi or slick tyres. I'm also sure TOYOs saved me on street couple of times. Not best choice for rainy cold days as they loosing grip quicker (but all tyres do that) and you have to remember this, also wearing quite quickly.
Still best tyres I ever had and I'm more happy with them than so highly rated rainsport 3

Was thinking toyo r888 but they are 215 45 17
or
YOKOHAMA PARADA SPEC 2
R888's are expensive and while they are a road going semi slick which should really only be used on track, the same with the Federal 595 RSR. Their compounds are too soft and their side walls are too hard for regular road use. I use the 595 RSR's as a dry race tyre on my 4th gen.mr_drc wrote:Any one know about these FEDERAL 595-RS-R (SEMI-SLICK)
Yokohama Parada spec 2's are apparently crap and even worse in the wet.
For a road car you should be looking at all weather tyres. A good set will perform well in all conditions. RainSport 3's is all I ever put on my road car.
