These lights ocassionally come on
Brake lamp light 1st, then handbrake light, then ABS light ...

Checked brake lights were working - so confused.
On closer inspection, this bulb is on way out - most of the curly element burnt - just a single strand of element left!

So new bulb required then!
Strange why the ABS light come on as well?

A fault on one circuit can cause the other lights to come on as well. It's a fail safe kind of thing.
Also check your brake fluid levels (in the master cylinder reservoir and the ALB reservoir as well) as when they're low, they can cause the fault lights to come on.

jjmartin349571 wrote:Yep - the reason Iain mentioned the ALB reservoir is because these older Honda's have 2 separate hydraulic systems as a result of how the ALB was designed. You need to check both fluid reservoirs, there will be a smaller one for the ALB system.
I reckon the problem is your dodgy bulb though.
Is the master cylinder = brake resurvoir?
And ALB = anti lock brake reservoir?
