..cross that bridge when we come to it, fwiw, when I saw your rear wheel arches last week, the bubbling seemed to be very localised, I'm not sure you would need the whole rear section taken out, welded and sprayed. I'm pretty sure a very localised repair could be done satisfactorily.

My Luke is ready!
Yay :)

GOOD news :)
And BAD news :(

Good news...
Rev up/do - thy fixed by adjusting and slowing down the base idle?
Mike - sorry not sure if that makes sense.
We will see if the problem comes back.

Oil leak - they can't find any leak and suspect the current leak is just where engine is covered in oil from previous oil leak

And the BAD news.
They can't refurb the starter motor as being an automatic its unique to that car.
They said car started every time in the 3 days they had it.
So a temperamental issue.

They have rung around and the only solution is to replace with a £116 one.
I can't justify that cost if I am selling Luke ...

I'm still really confused why you're thinking of selling and keeping the corrado, which has loads more wrong with it?

BOTH cars need to be gone - as I hope to move house and have no garage = no more Classic Insurance :(

Plus looking at a more reliable daily run

Only got Corrado til Summer to sell ...though u right they more troublesome, but i think i starting to like it more ....
