Wow you have the same 3m respirator mask hanging on the wall as me. That's is all.

Awesome work going on here mate. Love those massive brake rotas.
On another note, how hard is it to strip and rebuild an engine. I see so many people on here pulling engines apart and can't help but feel slightly intimidated by it. I shouldn't really as I have all the required Tools and at least the basic skills but can't help feeling like I'd make a massive balls of it.
What I'm basically saying is, should I rip my h22 apart like you have and set about building something awesome or should I just Pay someone else to do it.

if you have the cash - pay someone. if you lack cash but have time/can make time and dont mind doing over a reasonable period of time - do it yourself.farlow wrote:Awesome work going on here mate. Love those massive brake rotas.

Cool, I guess time is the key here then. I could work with that, I have most of the parts already and I'm not expecting my lude back on the road any time in the next few years so maybe I should just do it.
Ps Sorry Phil for hijacking your thread but thanks for potentially inspiring me to attempt an engine build.

Good work phil, though i am slightly disapointed that you didn't wait 3 weeks and update it exactly 2 years since your last one. Still who am i to criticise

i'm aiming for it not to spray it internals all over the dyno/tuner/roof of the dyno, anything more is a bonusMerlin wrote:Great stuff. Big power Na! Are you shooting for 300bhp?

hopefully there will be 3 fairly focused cassis red ones knocking soon!wurlycorner wrote:I sense a cassis red 'track-off' brewing...
