But what on earth do you inspect on a car for radiation and how? And why would the car need to be inspected in the first place? I drove past Windscale in some of my cars, should I be waving a Geiger counter over them or something?

Looking good mate me personally would remove mid spoiler and do a wiper delete! Keep up the good work
If it looks like jobby and smells like jobby it probably is jobby!

They don't have to have a radiation inspection, it just something that our 3 selected dealers do. Would you want to sit in a car everyday that may of sat near Fukushima?

TBH, what I'm saying is that it isn't something that would even cross my mind when buying a used car, no matter where it's from!

This was derailed fairly quickly.

I have to agree with wurly on this one though, a radiation inspection would not have been top of my priorities list when importing a car.

Maybe it should be, anyone got any recently imported jdm vehicles, have you had them checked for radiation :?
