Oh
When we left hotel 12noon yester
Luke stalled immediately each time trying to startup!
(Usually its rev up, rev down, stall - then i whack starter motor - then it starts)

So i whacked starter motor - and it started IMMEDIATELY :)
Deffo starter motor then (hopefully when it gets refurb next week its fixed :) )

Well
I had a good few days to think about WHEN to sell Luke...

I think the time has come :(

Rather than wait til late Summer (earliest i was thinking of selling ...):
I think next month will be about right.

Jobs to finish off:
1. Next week garage will fix oil leak + refurb starter motor
2. I ll solder the fog lights coz of lose connections (and apply amber film - still think it looks better with amber fogs, even though the bulbs are amber :) )
3. Weld boot holes - then ask welder/bodyshop ref how bad wheel arch rust are
- will get bodyshop to also refit rear spoiler (ref worn thread hole)

Things not working:
1. Air con
2. Rear spoiler brake light not connected

Its going to be a sad sad day ...

If you're going to fix the bits left to do on the Prelude would it not make more sense to keep it rather than the Corrado? I'd hazard a guess that an old performance VW is going to give you more trouble in the long term than your honda will :?

A CRX would make a great summer car for weekend outings. Thought about getting one of those?

Well
Luke already got FK1000p on his paintwork + 3 layers of AngelWax H2Go on glass -

So just a quick wash after 900miles in 3 days including sunbathing on beach ...
